You must get client approval before you exceed your Weekly Hours Limit. This approval must come from the company managing the project; it cannot come from Facet. If you go over your hours limit without approval, you may not be paid for those extra hours.

If you find you need more time on a project, we recommend having a conversation with or emailing the client. Open communication regarding the project and why more hours are needed can be very helpful. Be proactive with this communication.

We also recommend asking if they are okay with you going over hours for not only the current project, but any future projects, should the need arise. You can also ask if there is a restriction on the number of hours you can go over. Setting a restriction can prevent having to ask multiple times if you can do extra hours.

Once you’ve gotten the go-ahead from the client, please email [email protected] the details of the client’s approval for additional hours.
